Esther Brueggemeier grew up surrounded with photography. Her maiden name even translates to 'View finder' which was somehow to shape her direction later in life.

After living overseas (and being homesick) for many years her interests honed in on, 'I still call Australia home'. With renewed passion for all things Australian, the love for Wattles (Australian Acacias) took center stage.

Esther now owns and runs a small business that has everything and anything to do with Wattles - enter the world of Wattle Photography! Her galleries aim to showcase this beautiful species and all the 'life' that is hidden within them.

All current images were taken in the 'Wild about Wattle' Display garden. This garden is part of the 'Open Gardens Australia' network and visits can be arranged by appointment. All Acacias and other Australian native plants in the garden are available to order seasonally.
